What is Matchmaking?

LuxLive Digital Festival is introducing an advanced AI-powered matchmaking platform. The platform uses natural language processing, advanced algorithms and deep neural networks to constantly learn about your professional goals and interests. We will take the work out of networking through intelligent matchmaking – making it more fun and giving you a higher return on your time.

What are the benefits?

Our matchmaking platform allows you to network with other attendees and exhibitors, arrange meetings and identify potential business contacts.

How do I find networking opportunities?

The platform uses natural language processing and advanced algorithms to recommend networking opportunities. Alternatively, you can search for attendees/exhibitors directly or use the filters to find the right profile you’re looking to meet.

How do I request a meeting?

First, find the person you’d like to meet and click on their name to view their profile page, you’ll be able to mark them as ‘interested’ or send a meeting request directly.

Where will my meetings take place?

Meetings will take place in virtual meeting rooms or you can specify somewhere else in the personal message area.

Can I add meetings to my calendar?

When a meeting request is accepted it will send a calendar invite to your email address.

What details of mine are displayed in the platform?

The platform will display your professional information including name, job title and company. Information such as telephone number; email address or mail address will not be displayed.

Can I export my connections contact details?

No. Users contact details are not displayed or exportable in the platform.

Where is the event schedule?

The agenda will be listed at the top of the homepage. Click on the tab for further details of each session.

How do I watch the content sessions?

You will be able to view the sessions via the live-stream link listed on the homepage.

What is ‘My agenda’?

Within the platform any meeting request that you accept, or any agenda session you select will automatically appear in your agenda to help you plan your day.

What is ‘Recommended for you’? 

Using our unique AI technology we are able to suggest relevant people who you may wish to connect with based on your profile. You can then request meetings or show an interest in this person to start your networking journey.

What is ‘Interested in you’? 

This will show you a list of other attendees who having viewed your profile, have indicated they are ‘interested in you’, but are yet to request a meeting. 

What is ‘My Interested List’?

This is a list of profiles that you have shown an interest in. If any of those profiles show an interest back, you will be able to chat/request meetings.

What are ‘My connections’? 

To make a connection, there needs to be mutual interest from both parties. Once this has been established, the contact will be listed under ‘My connections’ tab and you will be able to chat/request a meeting.

What is My Skip List?

This is a list of profiles that you have skipped or didn’t find interesting. You can always undo the skip action.

How do I find attendees?

Click on the attendee tab on the left hand side of the homepage.

How do I find sponsors?

Click on the sponsor tab on the left hand side of the homepage.
