How circadian lighting transformed life at a Derby care home

An installation of circadian lighting at a care home in Derbyshire reduced the number of falls experienced by its elderly residents, improved their levels of engagement during the day and helped them sleep better. The spectrum-controlled lights at 60-bed Heanor Park helped to entrain residents’ circadian rhythms, making night shifts easier as residents’ body clocks are synced correctly.
