Paul Hudson was born in Easington, County Durham. He holds a joint honours degree in Planning, Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham.
Paul began his career with a four-year apprenticeship in Production Engineering then spent three years as a production manager in a large hospital laundry and sterile supplies facilities, prior to attending university. A change in career then followed to regional economic development activities for a number of Government and NGOs prior to a spell living in Canada. This led to a return to manufacturing in the Electronics Manufacturing Services sector for several large global organisations (Flextronics, Solectron and Celestica) in various country and regional operational and supply chain roles (with extended periods living, working and managing significant business streams at sites in Eastern Europe). He joined the business in 2010 and is responsible for the end-to-end operational site and manufacturing process with focus on QHSE, transformational development and continuous improvement.
Paul is married with two teenage girls. He passionately supports (without much success!) his home town football team, and he enjoys reading, cooking, attending gigs and trying to keep fit by swimming and regular sessions at the gym.
